Amir is an Investment Adviser and Managing Partner at Wimbledon Capital Advisors LLC (Wimcap). He has over 14 years of financial market experience. Prior to Wimcap Amir was a Director with Wimbledon Asset Management (WAM) in London, United Kingdom.
Amir began his career as a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch & Co. where for over 4 years he specialized in Equity and Fixed Income Portfolio Management for high-net worth clients, family offices, and government institutions. He holds the Series 65 Investment Advisor Law Exam with FINRA and Financial Securities and Derivatives qualifications with the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment in the United Kingdom.
Amir earned a Master of International Affairs in Economic Development from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs on an academic fellowship. He minored in Advanced Policy and Economic Analysis. Amir also received his Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Archaeology from University College London.
Tayseer is an Investment Adviser and a Partner at Wimcap and has over 35 years of financial market experience. Prior to Wimcap Tayseer founded WAM in 2008 where he also serves as a Managing Director.
Prior to WAM Tayseer had a highly successful 27 year career at Merrill Lynch & Co., from 1981 - 2008. As First Vice President - Investments at Merrill Lynch Tayseer was responsible for leading teams of Financial Advisors who looked after ultra high net worth and institutional clients. Tayseer developed and managed highly successful teams of industry professionals as well as looking after his own clients. With over 30 years experience Tayseer's market knowledge and expertise spans across all securities and contractual based investments. Tayseer focused mostly on bonds and foreign exchange.
Prior to joining Merrill Lynch Tayseer worked for Kuwait Real Estate Bank/ Bank of America within the Economics and Treasury Department between 1979-81.
Tayseer graduated with an MBA from Texas A&M University in 1979. He received a BSc. in Business Administration and a Minor in Mathematics from South Eastern Oklahoma State University in 1977.
